Nothing happens on the Mälaren islands, until it does.
After the disappearance and death of one of their classmates, two teenagers are spurred to look into the unusual circumstances happening around their rural Swedish town. Unusual happenings are common this close to that once monolithic thing once referred to as The Loop, though recently, these oddities are occurring a lot more frequently. Something's happening, something bad, and the youth of the Mälaren islands aren't going to wait around and do nothing - they need something to do lest they get bored.

How does a world forget a life in its entirety?
Willow-On-Rocks, a high-elf, finds herself suddenly forgotten in the City Above, dozens of faces forgetting her existence and dozens more possessions vanishing from her hold. All that remains is a letter telling her to travel to the city beneath the surface; the Heart - a place known for its tales of terror, blood and hunger. Armed with what remains of her belongings, she makes the journey, unsure of the people, the places or the horrors she will meet.
